Halloween?
Livy asked:
I love Halloween! It is really fun. I don’t trick or treat but I pass out candy. I think that is really fun. I love to watch Halloween movies and eat a ton of candy until I am sick. Decorating is fun. It is just great. But to get to my question, what should my costume be. I DO NOT want to go to walmart and buy a ready to wear costume. I want to be creative. I want to look good too. You never know who will walk up to my doorstep. Also, people don’t trick or treat in my neighborhood. I just moved to this house on the lake where there are just a bunch of old people. So…I am probably going to my aunt’s house in town. They have kids so should I just have a party with them and watch movies and stuff after they trick or treat. I mean what do I do with them. I love Halloween and I want to do all of my favorite things like watching movies baking decorating. But it is not my house
To summarize my questions
What should I dress up as that is creative?
What activities should I do? Your ideas?
Oh and can you give me names of good Halloween movies that are not gorey?
What are some good easy recipes to make for Halloween?
Also, I am in high school. I am not a little kid. Lol!

you should dress up as terry schivo so u dont have to really do anything
i can provide you with a whole list of scary movies (some gory some not)
The Shining [1980]
Nightwatch [1998]
Halloween [1978]
The Silence Of The Lambs [1991] (more off a phsycological thriller)
Stephen King’s IT [1990]
Ringu [not sure of the year] its the version of ring that the japenese made
Ring
Se7en (phsycological thriller)
Well, a good way to make something more home made is to try and use your old Halloween outfits and make something out of that. Also you could celebrate Halloween at your house before you go to your Aunt’s so you could do all the stuff you normally do but a different day. Also if you don’t want to make something out of your old costumes then you could buy a wig and just wear some of your everyday wear clothes. Good Halloween movies that aren’t gory are the Goosebumps series. I know it sounds cheesy but they’re actually good. Anyways, good luck.
For Costume: Depends what you’re into (pretty, scary, funny, sexxie, cute)
What I’ve done in the past is pick a color, then go with it. One Year I wore a purple top with a see-through shirt on top of it and jeans w/boots. I grabbed a cute witch hat that was purple and had fun with make-up. Another year I bought these really cute leggins and kinda just did cool makeup and that was my costume…clothes too ofcourse! lol
Group up with cousins or peers and tag along with what they’re doing. Bring along some of the ideas you mentioned. Bake Halloween cupcakes and cookies and popcorn balls.
You should dress up as Dolly Parton. As for good Halloween movies I would say ” Halloween ” or any of the Freddy movies.
If you want to keep your costume simple, I suggest wearing a mask (any kind you like) and a big jacket of some sort. A wig would also be good! Cookies the first thing I thought of but you could make peanut brittle or something…You could make a pumpkin cake! (as you would a carrot cake). Buy little pumpkins and get stuff like pipe cleaners, pompoms, paint and googely eyes and let the kids decorate their own mini pumpkin!
